Deals Seminar: Secured Transactions

Some sessions of this seminar will be conducted by video conference. This seminar will examine the regulation and planning of secured transactions under Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code and related laws. The seminar will build on the basic contract and property courses in two ways – first, by focusing on mastering provisions of the UCC, and second, by applying the provisions in a secured lending context with a focus on deal documentation. The seminar should be of particular interest to students who wish to develop skills in statutory analysis and in understanding and planning business transactions.
